Russian Ambassador Vladimir Chkhikvishvili met today with Eduard Shevardnadze. After the meeting, the envoy to Georgia told journalists that he considers the current situation in Georgia a very difficult one. At the same time, the ambassador ruled out the possibility that Russia would aid Georgia militarily.
