First evacuees leave West Bank settlement of Sanur

A bus has carried out the first evacuees from the West Bank settlement of Sanur, police said Tuesday.

Sanur is one of two militant strongholds that troops are evacuating Tuesday in the last phase of Israel's dismantling of 21 settlements in the Gaza Strip and four in the West Bank, the AP reports.

As Pravda.ru said earlier today, at Kadim and Ganim, two of the West Bank settlements slated for evacuation, about 50 families have already left voluntarily. There may be violence today when troops enter Sa-Nur and Homesh.
