Indonesian Foreign Minister Hassan Wirayuda is to pay an official visit to Russia on September 25-28, the press and information department of the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
The Russian-Indonesian talks in Moscow will focus on further development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation and on a wide range of vital international and regional problems.
The Russian and Indonesian Foreign Ministers are to sign a memorandum on mutual understanding and bilateral consultations, the department said.
The first meeting of the Russian-Indonesian joint commission on trade and economic and technical cooperation will be held in Moscow during Hassan Wirayuda's visit.
The choice of the city of Helsinki is not incidental as the capital of Finland had hosted US-Soviet negotiations on the limitation of nuclear stockpiles in 1969
