Portuguese President Jorge Sampaio is coming to Moscow on October 25 to negotiate joint measures to combat terrorism and bilateral relations. According to a source in Sampaio's administrative office, talks will also focus on ways of raising the efficiency of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, which Portugal will chair beginning next year. Portuguese analysts point out that the president travels to Russia accompanied by a large delegation of businessmen and bankers, who will meet with their Russian colleagues to discuss investment to Russian economy and ways of expanding bilateral trade links.
