A jubilee week dedicated to the Nobel Prize centenary is to be celebrated in Sweden and Norway in December, reported the Swedish embassy in Moscow. Embassy officials said Wednesday that the first prizes had been presented in 1901 at the former Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, while the Nobel laureates had been announced at a session of the Norwegian parliament in Oslo. All living Nobel Prize winners have been invited to the jubilee week. The festivities will begin on December 4 with the laureates' lectures at Swedish and Norwegian universities, to be followed by a number of seminars. It will end in the prize presentation ceremony in Stockholm and Oslo.
