Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi arrived in Moscow on a one-day working visit Wednesday. He is to hold negotiations with the Russian leadership on countering international terrorism. Berlusconi is also to discuss strategic stability and vital international problems, including the present situation in the Middle East, cooperation between Russia and the European Union in the light of the early October Russia-EU summit in Belgium, creation of common economic space, the Italian Embassy in Moscow said. The negotiators may discuss the Russia-NATO relations and the Russian-Italian bilateral relations. Italy is one of the leading Russian partners in Europe.
