Three Russian journalists came under fire in Syria yesterday night, officials with the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The journalists were doing their job and went to the forefront of the positions of the Syrian Army, when the vehicles, in which the journalists were traveling, came under fire.
"On November 23, when going to the forefront of the Syrian government army, a group of Russian journalists came under TOW fire near the village of Dagmashliya," RIA Novosti quoted an official message from the Russian Defense Ministry.
Several journalists were wounded, one of them was contused. The journalists were delivered to Hmeymim Russian airbase, here they receive medical aid.
Noteworthy, a Russian Su-24 fighter jet was shot down in the sky above Syria near the Turkish border, Pravda.Ru has reported before.
