PARIS (AP) French Finance Minister Herve Gaymard said Friday he has decided to submit his resignation to the prime minister. He did not say if it was accepted. The resignation offer came after Gaymard was criticized for using public funds to cover his rent on a luxury apartment. Gaymard announced his resignation offer in a statement in which he said he had made a "serious error of judgment" about his lodgings.
