An Israeli helicopter fired two missiles at a target in Gaza City early Monday, knocking out power in the east side of the city.
The target of the airstrike wasn't immediately known.
Ambulances and firefighters raced to the scene of the attack, which occurred as many people were leaving their homes for Muslim morning prayers.
The Israeli army had no comment, AP reported.
