On Thursday, a mourning ceremony to commemorate the victims of the Ukrainian AN-140 crash will be held at the aircraft making plant in Isfahan, Iran.

According to Russian Consul General in Isfahan Ivan Isachenko, the ceremony will be held after the demonstration flight of a second Iran-140 assembled in Isfahan.

Representatives of the leading aviation enterprises of Ukraine and Russia, passengers of the crashed plane, were heading for Iran to attend the presentation ceremony.

After the mourning ceremony, the investigation commission, all the participants of which met on Wednesday evening, will visit the site of the crash to start the investigation, Isachenko said.

He went on to say that the bodies of the victims had been recovered; now they are being identified.

Ukraine and Iran signed a contract on the production of planes, analogues to AN-140, in 1995. Planes were assembled at the HESA aircraft making plant in Isfahan. The first plane took off this March.
