UN High Commissioner for Refugees Ruud Lubbers will arrive in Moscow on January 15. According to the information available to the Moscow office of the UN Commission for Refugees, he will visit the camps of Chechen refugees in Ingushetia and will hold talks in Moscow. This is the first visit of Lubbers to Russia. He was appointed UN High Commissioner for Refugees in the beginning of 2001.
