The head of the parliamentary faction Fatherland, one of the leaders of Maidan opposition, Arseny Yatseyuk, has been appointed for the position of the Prime Minister of Ukraine. As many as 371 deputies have voted for his candidacy.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has also formed the ruling coalition called "European Choice."
