Twenty-five years after helping make the &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/culture/2002/05/27/29323.html ' target=_blank>Pink Floyd anthem Another Brick In The Wall members of the school choir that performed the chorus have learned that they are eligible for royalties.

The song, whose infamous chorus included the lines "we don't need no education, we don't need no thought control", involved 24 children aged 13 and 14 from Islington Green School, north London.

They were not paid individually, although the school received £1,000, reports the Telegraph.

According to the Guardian, some of the ex-pupils are hoping for back payments for their contribution to the album, which has so far sold more than 12m copies.

When the song was recorded in 1979 at Britannia Row Recording Studios in Islington, north London, the studio manager recruited a chorus of young voices from nearby Islington Green School.
