Yemeni Delegation In Kabul

The delegation of the Yemeni Foreign Ministry has arrived in Kabul to hold talks on the resumption of diplomatic relations with Afghanistan and on the opening of the embassy. On December 25th the Yemeni government has announced the recognition of the Afghan interim government and the resumption of diplomatic relations at the level of embassies. Meanwhile, a group of Yemeni security officials will arrive in Islamabad to interrogate several Yemenis detained by the Pakistani authorities when crossing the Afghan border. According to Arab media, family members of al-Qaida terrorists are among the detainees.
