Polish Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski slipped Sunday and broke his left arm, Polish media reported.
Kaczynski the identical twin of President Lech Kaczynski had the accident Sunday afternoon while he was on his way to attend a Roman Catholic Mass in a chapel at the president's palace, the government spokesman Jan Dziedziczak told TNV24.
Kaczynski received medical treatment and was expected to be able to carry out most of his duties in the coming week because he is right-handed, Dziedziczak said, reports AP.
No further details were immediately available.
