European Commission President Romano Prodi hopes to achieve progress in all spheres of cooperation with Russia at the Kremlin talks on Wednesday. Prodi announced this at the opening of a new office of the European Commission's representation in Moscow. Relations between Moscow and the European Commission have extended from trade and economic cooperation to strategic partnership, Prodi stressed. Russia has changed for the better over the past 11 years and has taken the road of democratization and market economy, Prodi said.
