Georgia is intending to take part in the post-war reconstruction of Iraq. This was announced today by Georgian Economics Minister Georgi Gachechiladze.
He said this might involve the export of building materials and food to Iraq. The minister stressed that despite the competition Georgian companies ought to do everything possible to receive some small contracts. Mr Gachechiladze insisted that the Georgian government would provide all feasible support in achieving this.
