Germany's federal chancellor Gerhard Schroeder is expected in Moscow on Friday evening, the German embassy reported. According to the source, the German leader will stay in the Russian capital for a few hours and return to his country already on the same night. In Moscow, Schroeder intends to meet Russian president Vladimir Putin. The Moscow negotiations of the German chancellor will feature the situation in Afghanistan and Central Asia, and the fight against international terrorism. Schroeder's visit to Moscow will come after his trip to Pakistan, India and China. The embassy added that the Central Asian tour of the German chancellor is linked to the situation around Afghanistan.
