FSB director calls for strengthening cooperation between special services of CIS countries

Director of the RF Federal Security Service (FSB) Nikolai Patrushev believes that security services of CIS countries must strengthen their cooperation in the fight against economic crimes.

"Criminal activity in the sphere of economy continues, and CIS security services must increase their efforts to prevent economic crimes. Each CIS country will have better socio-economic situation if we succeed in decreasing the number of such crimes," Mr. Patrushev told journalists on Wednesday.

FSB Director participates in the work of the 15th meeting of the Council of heads of CIS security services.

According to Mr. Patrushev, the participants of the meeting will discuss the suppression of the financing channels used by terrorists.
