Delegation of Russia's Women Union to participate in conference of Women's International Democratic Federation in Beirut

A delegation of the Russia's Women Union arrived in Beirut on Friday to participate in the 13th conference of the Women's International Democratic Federation. The conference will focus on the situation in the Middle East, particularly, in Palestine, and women's role in Mideastern events. The Beirut conference is timed to the anniversary of the adoption of the UN Resolution on the partition of Palestine (November 29, 1947).

The women's forum will last for three days from November 29 till December 1. It will be held at the UNESCO hall, the largest in Beirut. The motto of the present conference is "Women Fighting for Just Peace, Rights and Equality".
