US Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham has arrived in Moscow for a five-day visit. The Secretary will meet his Russian colleague Igor Yusufov, Nuclear Energy Minister Alexander Rumyantsev and representatives of Russian fuel and oil companies.
According to the official spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, the agenda of the forthcoming talks includes issues concerning commercial cooperation in the energy sector and joint development of projects in the sphere of research, production, reprocessing, transportation and sales of energy carriers. Issues concerning the US investments into the development and modernisation of the Russian fuel and energy sector will also be discussed in the course of the meeting.
