President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation expressed his condolences to the people of Spain and the Spanish leadership in connection with a terrorist act that was perpetrated in Sanguesa, Navarra province the other day. He also expressed sympathy for those, who were killed and wounded there. Putin made this statement, while addressing the Russia-EU summit in St. Petersburg.
Unfortunately, our colleague, the Prime Minister of Spain, was unable to come because of this outrage, Putin told those present.
