Russia's Mufti Council Chairman Meets With Lebanon's Prime Minister

On Wednesday a meeting was held in Moscow between Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, Chairman of the Russian Mufti Council, and Rafiq Hariri, Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic. "We have come to the common opinion that a hard goal faces the Muslim clergy today. It is to show that Islam has nothing in common with present-world terrorism, that Islam is not at variance with other religions and seeks to achieve mutual understanding between the peoples of the entire world", said Hariri.
