Nine Russian tennis players were seeded at the Wimbledon Tournament.
The Wednesday's draw among the best players for the tournament, scheduled to start in a week, determined 32 participants in women and men competitions.
The Russian team will be represented by three male and six female athletes. Mikhail Yuzhny was seeded 16th, Marat Safin - 18th, Yevgeny Kafelnikov - 20th. The women were seeded as follows - Anastasia Myskina - 10th, Elena Dementeyva - 15th, Vera Zvonareva - 16th, Elena Bovina -21st, Nadezhda Petrova - 29th and Elena Likhovskaya - 31st.
A total of 128 participants in each group will take part in the main Wimbledon games scheduled to take place on June 23rd-July 6th.
