Tropical Storm Ingrid was dissipating early Monday east of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean, U.S. forecasters said.
Maximum sustained winds were near 30 mph (48 kph) with higher gusts, and the winds were expected to diminish in strength over the next day or two, the National Hurricane Center said.
At 5 a.m. EDT (0900 GMT Monday), Ingrid's center was about 120 miles (195 kilometers) east-northeast of Antigua.
The depression was moving west near 9 mph (15 kph) and was expected to slowly make a turn toward the west-northwest, according to the National Hurricane Center.
On Thursday, Ingrid became the ninth storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, which runs from June 1 to Nov. 30. Ingrid was downgraded to a depression after weakening Saturday.
