Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov has arrived in the American capital. The plane of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry landed at the base of the US Air Force Andrews near Washington.
In several hours Igor Ivanov will meet with US Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans and then take part in the meeting of the group of the four international mediators for the Middle East settlement which includes, apart from Russia, the United States, the European Union and the United Nations.
Quite possibly, Igor Ivanov will also meet US Secretary of State Colin Powell.
In the afternoon of December 20, Igor Ivanov will fly to Moscow, having thus completed his six-day tour.
