US aircraft have delivered an air strike on an Iraqi command centre. According to the US CENTCOM /Central Command/, the US aircraft patrolling Southern Iraq delivered the strike. This zone is banned for the Iraqi Air Force.
The attack followed a ground artillery fire on US jets, which subsequently dropped several laser-guided bombs. No details of the attack have been disclosed.
Over the past week, aircraft of the anti-Iraqi coalition patrolling the restricted area have come 10 times under hostile fire.
