Premier Of Bosnia And Herzegovina To Visit Moscow On December 10-11

Zlatko Lagumdzija, Premier and Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will pay a routine visit to Moscow on December 10-11 on the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, the Informations and Press Department of the Russian foreign ministry said in a Friday statement. The ministers intend to discuss the current state of bilateral relations and ways of activating them by means of creating a contractual and legal basis for cooperation in various spheres. Special attention will be paid to the progress of the General Framework Agreement on Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to the current situation in the region. The program of Lagumdzija's visit envisages meetings with the top leaders of several federal ministries and departments with the purpose of negotiating economic cooperation.

On December 10, 1948 the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, its thirty articles enshrining basic and fundamental rights guaranteeing dignity of the human person and equality for all, regardless of race, color, creed or gender. A pipe dream?
