French Diplomat To Head Osce Mission In Kosovo

French diplomat Pascal Fieschi will head the OSCE mission in Kosovo, sources in Pristina, the capital of this Yugoslav territory, reported Friday. Before this appointment Fieschi worked as French ambassador to Ukraine. Earlier he held diplomatic posts in French embassies in Greece, Czechoslovakia, Australia and Russia. He took part in developing the Helsinki Act, a key document of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The new head of the OSCE mission is expected to arrive in Kosovo next week.
