All Mines Cleared In Kosovo

All mines have been cleared on the territory of Kosovo, a KFOR spokesman told journalists in this Yugoslavian province on Sunday. According to reports from Pristina, sappers cleared 2,273 mines and around 1,200 of other explosive devices. International organisations promise that 38 Kosovo inhabitants who were injured in mine explosions will receive treatment in a special clinic in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Mine-clearing in Kosovo involved the International Anti-mine Foundation, which allocated $13.5 million specially for this purpose and provided mine-clearing experts, said the KFOR spokesman.
