Russian Consulate General to Lithuania Vandalized by Schoolchildren?

Law enforcers have found the hooligans who vandalized the Russian Consulate General in Klaipeda and the memorial to Soviet warriors who died while liberating this Lithuanian city from fascists in 1945.

The police suspect that the Sunday act was committed by Nazi-minded schoolchildren from well-to-do families.

As reported earlier, the incident prompted the Mayor of the city to apologize to the staff of the Consulate General and all of Lithuania's Russian-speaking residents. The Russian embassy to Lithuania sent a corresponding note to the Lithuanian foreign ministry.
