Adzharia's Leader To Help Georgia Settle Abkhazian Conflict

The head of the Adzharian Autonomous Republic Aslan Abashidze, one of Georgia's most authoritative politicians, will become the Georgian President's personal envoy in settling the Abkhazian conflict. Eduard Shevardnadze told about this in an interview with the National Radio. Apart from that, while speaking at a briefing in the State Office on Monday the President said that Aslan Abashidze has certain chances to contact the Abkhazian leadership and facilitate the speeding up of the negotiation process, i.e. resolving the issue on discussing Abkhazia's within single Georgia.
