On Wednesday a militants' base under construction in the Gudermes district of the republic has been destroyed. As the Russian Interior Ministry's press-centre in the North Caucasus has told RIA Novosti, the construction site was near the populated settlement of Gerla-Genoi and consisted of a network of trenches and a dug-out for 15 men and was carefully camouflaged. The militia found foodstuffs, supplies of drinking water, and also a Kalashnikov sub-machine gun, two grenade launchers and two combat grenades in the dug-out. After the inspection the base was exploded.
