During their Moscow meeting which is scheduled for this January the presidents of Russia and Turkmenia intend to discuss the questions of regional security, the whole complex of bilateral relations, the future of the Commonwealth of Independent States, economic problems, the two countries' participation in international organisations, and coordination of moves in the foreign policy arena, as well as holding of joint consultations on some or other international questions, head of Turkmenia Saparmurat Niyazov said at an Ashkhabad press conference on Wednesday answering RIA Novosti's question. According to him, he is expecting signing in Moscow of "a large-scale treaty" which will "determine cultural and economic relations between the two countries" for the future. "We are proud of our relations with Russia", Niyazov noted. As he said, there are no disputable elements in Russian-Turkmen relations. For his part, head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Igor Ivanov, speaking at the press conference, pointed out that our countries interact well in the international arena. "We respect the neutrality status of Turkmenia and closely coordinate efforts in the international arena", Ivanov noted. According to him, Russia will continue closely interacting with Ashkhabad on all questions.
