Chairman of the Georgian parliament Nino Burdzhanadze positively assessed the meeting of the "Caucasian Four" group of countries' heads of parliaments. The meeting took place in the Russian city of Kislovodsk (the south of the European Russia) last Saturday and included Russia, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Speaking on February 10th at the session of the parliament's bureau, Burdzhanadze pointed out that at the Kislovodsk meeting speaker of the Russian Federation Council Sergei Mironov "thoroughly analysed the problems of Georgian-Russian relations," which fact, she believes, will positively influences the relations between the two countries.

Burdzhanadze also stated that it was envisaged to invite the top officials of the Russian State Duma to visit Tbilisi soon.

She also confirmed that it is planned to hold the next meeting of the Caucasian states' heads of parliaments in Georgia.
