4 trespassers detained on Tajik-Afghan border

Russian border guards from the Panj border detachment that controls the Tajik-Afghan border detained four trespassers on Wednesday, reported the press service of the Federal Frontier Service border group to Tajikistan. All four were equipped with rubber bladders, which they intended to use while crossing the border river Panj. All four are residents of the Afghan village of Qalbad.

On the same day, border guards from the Khorog border detachment waved 26 construction workers and 6 ferries loaded with construction materials and the equipment necessary to build a road-transport bridge across the Panj past the border to Afghanistan.
