Georgian President To Take Part In CIS Summit

Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze intends to take part in the CIS summit in Moscow on November 30. His trip to Moscow will depend on the decisions taken by the Georgian Parliament, Shevardnadze said at a press conference on Monday. If the events in the parliament develop normally in connection with the approval of ministerial candidates "I am sure to take part in the Moscow summit of the CIS heads of state", Shevardnadze said. He reminded those present that he was the only person in the country able to take decisions for the time being. According to Shevardnadze, "this situation may last for no more than 10-15 days".
