Russian And Moldavian Presidents Sign Friendship Treaty Between Two Countries

Russian and Moldavian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Voronin on Monday signed in Moscow a basic treaty of friendship and cooperation between the two states. It has been concluded for 10 years and will be automatically extended every ten years if none of the countries expresses a desire to terminate it. The treaty says that Russia and Moldavia intend to hold regular consultations on key international issues and on bilateral relations. The two countries will refrain from any actions likely to harm the other side and its sovereignty, independence or territorial integrity. Besides, the document records an intention of each side to provide favourable economic, financial and legal conditions for businesses of the other side. Under the treaty Russia and Moscow will also develop military and military-technical cooperation and coordinate their efforts more closely in the struggle against international and organised crime. "Bearing in mind the role and significance of the Russian language," the document says, the Moldavian side intends to ensure "adequate conditions for Russian language tuition in Moldavia's education system". Similar obligations on the Moldavian language in Russia were assumed by Moscow.

Certainly readers already know that the Prosecutor's Office of Nanterre has ordered that Marine Le Pen, secretary of the Rassemblement National (former FN) and parliamentary to the Assembly, be submitted to psychiatric examination.
