Aliyev appeared on TV with appeal to Azeri people

Azeri President Heidar Aliyev while taking treatment in the US appealed to Azeri people on TV after opposition protest actions were carried out in Baku.

"I know you are anxious, but there’s no reason... I feel better now, and in some days I’ll return back home," Aliyev said in his appeal on AzTV state channel. Staying in hospital the President communicates with state administration, power-wielding ministers, gets necessary information and gives orders.

At the same time Azeri opposition forces hold on insisting on "Aliyev’s family" resignation.
