The fourth international exhibition "Medicine-2003" opened in the Kyrgyz capital on Tuesday.
The republic's health ministry told RIA Novosti that taking part in its work are more than 30 leading companies - producers of medical equipment and medicines from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Japan and Kyrgyzstan.
The latest designs of diagnostic, laboratory, dental, ophthalmology and operation equipment have been shown at the exhibition.
International seminars on the topical issues of diagnostics and laboratory express-diagnostics are expected to be held within the exhibition's framework.
The exhibition has been organised on the territory of the Kyrgyz state medical academy.
