USA granted equipment to Uzbekistan

The deputy head of the US mission in Uzbekistan David Appleton granted special equipment to the Uzbek Emergency Situations Ministry on Friday as a token of mutual efforts of both countries in intensified fight against proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

According to the information, given by the US embassy in Tashkent, the special equipment worth $270 thousand will be used by the Uzbek Emergency Situations Ministry, National Security Service and Ministry of Home Affairs for monitoring, identification and decontamination of such weapons, acquired during the investigation of crimes, related with their production and proliferation.
