New US Ambassador To Tajikistan Discussed Combating Terrorism With Tajik President

Newly appointed US ambassador to Tajikistan Franklin Huddle has discussed combat against international terrorism with Tajik President Emomali Rakhmonov. Huddle said this on Friday after his meeting with Rakhmonov. The ambassador noted that "the situation in the world had changed drastically after September 11, and fight against international terrorism had become a sacred duty of the whole civilized society." According to the ambassador, he had a very fruitful conversation about mutually advantageous relations, and broadening our countries' cooperation, with the president of Tajikistan."
