Ukrainian President Arrives In Moscow To Participate In CIS Summit

Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma will arrive in Moscow on a working visit on Wednesday. He is expected to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of the anniversary summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow said. On Wednesday, Kuchma is scheduled to meet Oleg Deripaska, the Vice-President of the Russian Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs, general director of the Sibirsky Aluminium and the Russian Aluminium. The Ukrainian President is also scheduled to meet heads of the leading Russian media, the Embassy added. On Thursday evening, Leonid Kuchma will attend the opening ceremony of the Year of Ukraine in Russia in the Kremlin's Palace of Congresses. On November 30, Leonid Kuchma will participate in the anniversary summit of CIS heads of state.
