Minsk ready to start negotiations with OSCE soon

The Belarussian Foreign Ministry intends to start negotiations with the OSCE on the form of presence of this organisation in the country and its mandate as soon as possible, press secretary of the Belarussian Foreign Ministry Pavel Latushko said on Thursday.

According to him, another meeting between the Belarussian Foreign Minister and OSCE Secretary-General can be the first step. It is necessary to finally agree on the beginning and procedure of the negotiations.

Minsk is ready to negotiate on the mandate of the OSCE group in Belarus, Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko said, following the meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.
