Meeting With Vladimir Putin Was Constructive -- Leonid Kuchma

The meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin was constructive, Ukraine's President Leonid Kuchma said at a press conference on Thursday in Moscow. To Kuchma, "we have many questions to put to each other. The main question is a closer integration in the economic and other spheres". Particularly, Russia and Ukraine have joint projects in the aerospace and other spheres, he noted. Talking of a closer economic integration, Kuchma stressed that this is understood at both the summit level and that of the business circles of the two countries. The Ukrainian head of state reported that the Russian and Ukrainian presidents will hold a meeting on this occasion on December 14 in Kharkov with representatives of the business circles. Kuchma stressed that, in the person of Vladimir Putin, Ukraine sees a reliable and predictable from all points of view politician.
