Uzbekistan's President Islam Karimov Arrives In Moscow To Participate In CIS Summit Meeting

The president of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, has arrived in Moscow to take part in a jubilee meeting of the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Speaking to reporters he reaffirmed that Uzbekistan "will certainly cooperate with the antiterrorist alliance" in its antiterrorist operation in Afghanistan. Karimov said Uzbekistan has already offered to the United States the use one of its airports, which will be used only for search-and-rescue and humanitarian operations. Karimov said "Uzbekistan is against bomb strikes and other land operations to be carried out from its territory".

Certainly readers already know that the Prosecutor's Office of Nanterre has ordered that Marine Le Pen, secretary of the Rassemblement National (former FN) and parliamentary to the Assembly, be submitted to psychiatric examination.
