Poroshenko throws West into dilemma: 'barbarians' or 'free world'

The Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko wants the West to continue supplying Ukraine with the weaponry.

In his latest interview to Wall Street Journal Poroshenko addressed the oversea partners with a provocative question.

"Are you together with the barbarian or together with the free world?" the Ukrainian President put it, contemplating involvement of the West in Donbass conflict resolution.

"We're looking for just 1,240 Javelin missiles, and this is absolutely fair," Poroshenko put forward his demands.

Pravda.Ru reported that Poroshenko issued an order on a buffer zone along the line of demarcation with Donbass. However, no efforts have been made so far by forces under his control to withdraw military hardware. Beside that, residential districts of Donetsk are being constantly shelled.
