The event is being organized by the Portuguese version of Pravda.Ru. Our mission is to debate and broadcast ideas, not belonging to or being the feudal property of any one faction or party, but representing and providing a space for all those who wish to express their ideas openly.
This is freedom of speech, this is the spirit of democracy and dialogue which we hoped would accompany the beginning of the third millennium. The organizers of this event are Luis Carvalho and myself. Our thanks to the Biblioteca-Museu Republica e Resistencia for the formidable logistical support they have provided for this event.
