George Person: Aliens and doomsday asteroids Perspective

On Earth, its natural to want to protect an endangered species....whether that be the bald eagle or the tiger or the great whale - once a species becomes extinct, we feel a personal loss and a sense of guilt that we didn't try to preserve a noble and beautiful creature from extinction when it was within our power to do so....

Earth, everyday of its existence, wakes up to a day of Russian roulette as it spins off into the cosmos....where a celestial intruder(asteroid) pops out from the far side of the sun, and passes Earth just hours before total oblivion, leaving us to the mercy of chance as the barrel of cold dark space clicks empty, and we live another day.....a race of 6 billion people, who are on the dawn of their space age, in a world of sophistication and commerce....

How fascinating it would be for an alien race to witness this world and want to study it before it gets clobbered by a godless space rock...perhaps they are contemplating some course of action which either delays the inevitable or somehow uplifts our race to a whole new level of technological being.....

Aliens and asteroids - what does it mean?! Are we being scrutinized by advanced alien groups before an impending collision with oblivion, while our world bickers away over petty Earthly issues - as cold dark space casts the first stone, towards a race that can't live peacefully within its starry realm, where purity and glory explodes before the child's eyes, waking up as a citizen of the universe when reality ends and the dream begins, and we search for our meaning, in a glorious new beginning......
