Kevin: Articles about US intervention in Iraq

Nobody ever stops to consider that Saddam tortured, murdered, mutilated 1.5 million of his own people, and that he violated "sacred" U.N. sanctions.  I personally could care less about the U.N.  I think they waste money, pander to communist nations, are anti-American, stick their nose where it doesn't belong, and will ultimately cause the U.S. to fall.  They talk out of both sides of their mouth, spewing more rhetoric than any other organization in the world.  But, back to my point.

The U.S. is a sovereign nation.  We went to Iraq because of the two aforementioned reasons and since we are the largest giving nation in the world, no one has a right to accuse us of being selfish.  It's too bad that the rest of the word is stuck in its black hole of socialism, they are watching their world crumble and their answer is more government, higher taxes, and U.N. intervention.  It is such a pity...especially when they saw the prosperity in America when it too was once a free nation.
